Remark (german): Abweichend von den Vorschriften des ADR/RID/ADN wird in der Gefahrgutliste in Kapitel 3.2 der UN-Modellvorschriften für diese UN-Nummer die Nebengefahr der Klasse 3 nicht angegeben. Eine Nachfrage bei der PTB nach dem Flammpunkt ergab, dass HCN-haltige Gemische definitiv entzündbare Dämpfe entwickeln. Zur Bewertung des Ausmaßes sind jedoch Messungen erforderlich. Stoffe, die neben entzündbaren auch hochtoxische Gase und Dämpfe abgeben, können von der PTB nicht auf ihren Flammpunkt vermessen werden. Aufgrund der fehlenden Information zum Flammpunkt wurde die Überlegung des BMDV, einen Antrag bei UN (TDG) für das Einfügen der Nebengefahr der Klasse 3 zu stellen, erst einmal zurückgestellt.
